1 Attend Thou and answer; Jehovah, give ear;
I needy and poor, make my plea;
2 Preserve Thou my soul; save Thy servant, O God,
For godly and trusting is he.

3 Since all the day long do I cry unto Thee,
Show mercy, O Lord, unto me.
4 The soul of Thy servant cause Thou to rejoice;
I lift up my soul unto Thee.

5 Thou, Lord, dost show mercy; forgiving Thou art;
Abundant Thy kindness and love
6 To those who sincerely upon Thee do call.
My voice, LORD, attend from above.

7 In day of my trouble upon Thee I'll call;
An answer for me Thou'lt prepare.
8 Among all the gods there is none like to Thee;
And no works with Thine can compare.

9 All nations Thou madest will come to Thee, Lord.
